Morrison told the New Zealand Herald that he has had a quiet year in terms of employment, and places the blame partly on the recent Hollywod strikes.
"I really just need Owen Glenn to give me $100,000 instead of Winston Peters, and I'll remember it quite vividly," he said to the Herald.
The interesting element to this story is that he also told the Herald "There's always Shortland Street but those doctors' hours killed me. I could go back to a reporting job or the Temuera Morrison show?"
He did not want to mention anything specific as he did not have any "firm contracts" at the moment, but it certainly would be interesting to see Temuera Morrison in the job of a television reporter.
