TVNZ have set up a new website to give Shortland Street fans something to keep them entertained and interested over the summer break.The finals episode for the year on December 19th saw an unidentified character shoot villain Dr Ethan Pierce to death in his home.
The storyline will continue when the soap returns in late January, but until then interrogation videos will be released every couple of days on the Ferndale Homicide website. This makes me wonder whether the show will continue from the day of Ethan's death when it returns, or from the case having been run for a month.

I think it was Alice cause when Ethan took her for gun shooting lessons she used his gun that looked the same as the one she dropped on ETHAN.

i think it is chris becauseits possible butnot obvivous, also he could have gone to find alice after she got drunk and found her with the gun, cause she was gonna shoot ethan but crashed out before he got home so chris took the gun and shot him, he knew about the music as well
