Speaking of digital media...

Speaking of the idea of getting music via the internet in a completely legal way, it seems Coldplay are giving away a digital version of their new single free for a week at coldplay.com.

This comes as "bands seek new ways to sell their music and connect with fans, particularly over the internet" says Stuff.co.nz.

I've got my copy.

Hey, really exciting post! omg!
I used to buy a CD of Coldplay and I remember about 3 years ago..1 of my mate was crazy about the song 'Fix me' and on the corridor of our hall, he was playing that song on and on and on.. kk I am the one of a few who were not complaining.. at all . lol

How can I get the free song? I got bit lost in the coldplay.com.
Should I click into the 'Song' ?
It says I have to preorder to get the free song :(
Where should I go? could you tell me? i am sure somewhere in the website I can download the song?

It is really amazing how they use digital media for their album ads and promotion!! :)

Hey Boa,

I think the promotion might have ended the other day as the website under the 'Song' section looks different now to it did when I went there.

I think they only made it available for a week.

I will try email it to you!
